AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business)

Founded in 1916, AACSB is the oldest and most comprehensive alliance of business schools. The average accreditation cycle lasts 5 to 8 years. It was jointly initiated by 16 renowned university business schools including Columbia University, Harvard University, University of California, Berkeley, University of Chicago, University of Pennsylvania and Yale University. It aims to promote accredited and applicant institutions to continuously raise admission standards, faculty competence and management standards. Its stringent accreditation criteria and high standards make AACSB accreditation an important symbol of world-class business education.

The Glorious Sun School of Economics and Management became an AACSB member in 2011. The School has continuously optimized its development and discipline construction, officially launched the accreditation process in 2023 and obtained EA approval in the same year. The initial iSER self-evaluation report was passed in 2025, and the School entered the phase of continuous improvement. The staff of the International Accreditation Office have participated in AACSB Global Annual Conference and Asia-Pacific Annual Conference for many times. Centering on accreditation, the School has comprehensively optimized institutional strategies, faculty structure, teaching achievements and research progress, and enhanced social influence.
