报告简介:

While greenwashing keeps vandalising the prosperity of green market, corroding its reputation, we witness the possibility of harness technological advancements from Industry 4.0 to curb its barbaric growth. However, the associated implementation will inevitably bring in a series of ‘side-effects’ including high investment cost, unbalanced technological literacy and market inertia etc., resulting in strategical decision-makings in a cross-road. Accordingly, we develop a game-theoretic model to study greenness competition between a green company and a brown company with the consideration of adopting industry 4.0-based solutions. We bring in the important parameters to mimic the features of this technology and our findings reveal insightful messages for both industrial practitioners as well as regulatory bodies.
