INTRODUCTION

Qi Xu is a professor of Department of logistics and electronic commerce, and vice dean of Glorious Sun School of Business and Management at Donghua University in China. Professor Xu’s research interests are in the areas of supply chain management, operation management, service operation management, and e-commerce. His published works appear in several refereed journals, including Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences, Mathematical Problems in Engineering, Journal of Applied Research and Technology. Journal of Applied Research and Technology, Decision Support Systems. Prof. Xu has received various research grants including three National Nature Science Foundations of China (NSFC), Research Fund for the Doctoral Program of Higher Education of China (RFDP), Nature Science Fund of Shanghai of China, Science Foundation for the Excellent youth Scholars of Ministry of Education of China. She is an INFORMS Member, Chinese director of management science and Engineering Institute,Member of Shanghai municipal discipline appraisal group. She has been a visiting scholar at the Simth School of business in Maryland University and Pennsylvania State University. She has recently been reviewers for various journals such as Journal of system management in China, Operation and management in China, etc. She is currently reviewers for some Foundations such as National Nature Science Foundations of China.
