This workshop offers insight on how reviewers look at manuscripts submitted and how to enter reviewers’ minds, incl. how to respond to them. As such, we intend to increase the probability of publication for all of you. Note that even if you do not wish to publish, it is good to enter the minds of professors and reviewers on what constitutes excellent research: your own doctoral proposals and theses will also be looked upon like this!



报告人简介:

Prof. dr. Dr Paul Matthyssens is Academic Director of the Master in Global Management at Antwerp Management School (AMS). From 2013 to 2018, Prof. dr. Matthyssens dean of AMS. Paul is a professor in Strategic Management at the University of Antwerp and AMS. He received the best Full-Time Master Teacher Award in 2014. He is also guest professor at DTU Business in Lyngby (DK) and Fordham University (US). Dr. Matthyssens has published about 100 articles in top academic journals such as Journal of Management Studies, Strategic Organization, Industrial Marketing Management, Long Range Planning, Technovation, Journal of Business & Industrial Marketing, Psychology & Marketing, International Marketing Review and Journal of Purchasing & Supply Management.


Matthyssens was a member of the Flemish Industry Council for the Flemish Minister-President (2010-2014). His research interests include business and industrial marketing, value innovation, global strategy and purchasing strategy. Matthyssens is a member of the editorial boards of various international journals. He advises companies and trains managers of companies such as ERIKS EU / USA, SD Worx, Roche, Fabricom-Suez, Asco, Barco, SKF, Proximus, Atlas Copco, Finmeccanica, and Oiltanking. He advises sector federations in Belgium and the Netherlands on industry convergence and transition, and supports the provincial government of Antwerp with their industrial policy and their business and incubator centers.
